I stayed here for one night on business and it was a very nice experience.
The hotel is situated just a few blocks away from the train station which makes it perfect for travel and sightseeing, since it's basically in the heart of the city.
After seeing photos from other visitors, I believe one of the better rooms was booked for me, because it was big enough, very clean, very comfortable and modern. The hotel website describes very well what type of accommodation they offer, so you can choose according to your needs and budget.
In my room on the 7th floor there was a TV, minibar, spacious wardrobe and desk. Two twin beds with very comfortable mattresses and fresh sheets. My only complaint about the room would be that there was no socket next to the bed, so I couldn't charge and use a gadget at the same time while sitting or lying in bed. The sockets were all above or underneath the desk.
The bathroom was very modern and clean, with extra towels and toiletries, a hairdryer and a nice shower. I especially loved the golden tiles on the bathroom floor as well as the glass door to the shower which you could close properly so that no water would splash all over the bathroom.
I did not have time to try the sauna but I did have breakfast in the morning and enjoyed it very much. Great selection for a good start of the day and very friendly service.
Internet worked perfectly and the staff at reception spoke both English and Swedish very well.
All in all, a great experience and a relaxing stay. I would recommend this hotel and definitely stay here again.
I loved this hotel. It is in an excellent location. It is a 5 minutes walk from the central station, as well as numerous bars, restaurants and tourist sites (pier, marketplace, museuns). The breakfast was abundant, the rooms were clean and confortable. It's a very nice hotel, I loved!
We picked this hotel because it was the least expensive hotel that still offered all of the services of a hotel. Other hotels in this price range were a little more like a hostel, or were the 'self service' types of hotel. This hotel is just a few blocks from the train station, which makes it easy to get from the airport without needing a cab. The staff was really helpful with suggestions and advice on what to do. Rooms were spacious, with room for a crib for our toddler.
We had a great experience here! The location is absolutely perfect. We had a new room on the 9th floor (I think it was originally an attic?) with a decent view. The room was a lot bigger than I expected for Europe and it was very clean. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom / shower was good.
The staff at the front desk were very friendly and extremely helpful (this was our first city on our vacation and we had a lot of questions). Breakfast was good as well. We will definitely be staying here the next time we are in Helsinki.
Located within walking distance of the main railway station. Very convenient if taking the bus from the airport, less than ten minute walk from the bus stop. Rooms modest but clean, good breakfast, friendly helpful staff, close to tram stop.
Moi! I just wanted to thank you for the nights I spent in your hotel at the end of March! Everything was soooo nice, from the rooms, to the food, to the kindness of the people at the reception! And the position was also perfect! I will certainly come back when I'll return to Helsinki! Kiitos
