Restaurant Arthur Helsinki has been operating since 1927, whereupon the eatery that gained great popularity was called Hospiz. The writer Aino Kallas told reporters in a book that of all the restaurants in Helsinki, she missed Hospiz the most, due to its good, simple, and personalized home-cooked food. Restaurant Arthur has been operating in its location since 1957.
